I have been brought up with boxer dogs all of my life. Butch was the first boxer dog that I came into contact with as a 2 year old child. Cass was the next baby in my life. My parents rescued her when I was sixteen. When I moved out of my parents house I missed her loving, caring and boisterous ways, so I brought Benn into my life. He was my very own first boxer. Benn’s life was very short. He had a grade 5/6 heart murmur and he died while walking home, 1 week after his second birthday. When Benn passed my parents boxer Cass was distraught as she took Benn in as her own puppy. We were advised to buy another puppy and see if Cass would mother him. When choosing the puppy Bruno, ran to my husband and Spike ran to my dad. We could not decide which one to pick, so we walked out with both of them. Bruno stays with my husband and myself and Spike stays with my parents. We are hoping to add to our boxer family in the very near future.
